Our core service offering is the international voice connectivity for regional enterprises operating in Iraq. The primary communications needs of these enterprises are user-friendly phone systems, reliability and high quality voice and data communications between their headquarters and all foreign offices, strategic partners and customers. We provide the international switching services for the enterprises’ public phones; all the features of in-house phone systems; detailed call record reports; and customization of all features and administrative options according to customer requirements. Our customers get a choice of their phone numbers’ international exchange and area codes to optimize their connectivity costs. By choosing a number that is in their home country, they ensure that most of their calls would be either local or a domestic long-distance, for which we charge 5-16 cents per minute.
One of the key features we offer is that the employees of our enterprise customers dial a three-digit number to reach another employee, regardless of their location (e.g.: Malaysia, Kuwait or Iraq). There is no difference between an inter-office call that stays within the building or reaches an employee on the other side of the world. The same is true for inter-office conference calls – connecting multiple worldwide locations. For this part of our Enterprise Telephony offering, we charge an average of five cents per minute.
We manage all the enterprise’s international phone traffic to and from the outside world. While inter-company traffic stays strictly on our network, we utilize the infrastructure of major international phone exchanges to move traffic back and forth between the enterprise and its customers, vendors and other entities that are not connected directly to our network and the company switches. Although all the traffic on our network is digitized, it is not delivered via the public internet. Rather, we use circuit switched technology for these services. We contract with international carriers such as ATT and Global Crossings to provide genuine telephone routes through copper wire and fiber optic international phone exchanges, or circuit switches.
We have approximately 20 corporate customers that include such companies as Agility, the largest US government prime vendor in Iraq, IDM International, the largest ISP in Lebanon with locations throughout the Middle East; Kulak Construction Company, a Turkish construction company contracting with the US Government agencies in Iraq and operating laborer camps at FOB Balad and LSA Adder-Ali; and Tamimi International, a Saudi company responsible for operating the dining halls at all Iraqi military bases.
